Itanagar, Sep 10: The Deputy Commissioner Itanagar Capital Complex Talo Potom convened a meeting with the GPCs, GPMs and GBs of Borum, Sood Village, Model Village and Tarajuli on Thursday at Mini Secretariat Naharlagun to discuss various issues concerning Panchayat areas. During the meeting, the  Panchayat leaders raised the issue of the need for proper demarcation of the village boundaries.
The DC asked them to identify and demarcate boundary of their respective jurisdiction and submit the same to the DC office for further necessary action. As the boundaries are not properly demarcated, various issues like land disputes occur and once proper demarcation is carried out, such cases of disputes could be avoided and proper implementation of developmental activities could be taken up, said the DC.

Other important issues pertaining to Gaon Burah, village authorities etc were were also discussed during the meeting.
