ITANAGAR, Jun 8: Home Minister Bamang Felix today informed that police are on the hunt to apprehend the prime accused in the recent physical assault case of an eight-year-old minor girl.
Responding to queries on delay of arrest of the prime accused Lukbi Bojir, Felix said that the co-accused who happens to be his wife has already been arrested and police are working day and night to nab him.The police are also trying their best to foil his anticipatory bail sought in the Sessions Court, Bomdila and arrest him as soon as possible. More than two weeks have passed since an FIR was lodged against the accused teacher couple for assaulting and torturing a minor girl. A case has been registered on May 26 last under 00/21 u/s 363/326/34 of the IPC r/w sections 75 of the JJB Act and 14 of the Bonded Labour Act against Lukbi Bojir.
