NAHARLAGUN, Apr 2: In a breakthrough under the Cops and Community Initiative, Nirjuli Police recovered a stolen scooty near the Gas Agency in Nirjuli-I village. The recovery is linked to Nirjuli PS Case No. 24/25, U/S 303(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
The miscreant abandoned the vehicle after running out of fuel and fled the scene. This marks the fifth stolen vehicle recovery under the initiative, reinforcing police-public collaboration in tackling crime.
SP Naharlagun  Mihin Gambo commended local residents for their vigilance and urged citizens to remain alert, report suspicious activities, and take precautions to prevent vehicle theft.
