ITANAGAR, Feb 25: Capital Police arrested two more people in connection with the fake job racket in the Directorate of Health Services, Naharlagun.
Superintendent of Police, Capital Region, Jimmy Chiram informed that, one Tajum Tama and Taw Peri who was at large since FIR was lodged at Naharlagun Police station were arrested following the evidence recovered. The investigation is still going on as there are many documents we have to go through properly, so that those involved in such crime are punished as per the law, added the SP.
Earlier, on February 9 last, Capital Police had arrested two persons-- Jogen Saikia and Sangeeta Bansal. Bansal is working as UDC in the Directorate of Health Services whereas Saikia is the person who received money from the candidates.
Police also seized at least 86 job applications (fake) money received agreement on Non-Judicial Stamp papers during the investigation. Case no. 05/22 u/s 120-B/419/420/468/471 IPC has been already registered at the Naharlagun Police Station.
