ITANAGAR, May 30: After almost four days, police managed to arrest Mity Bojir, wife of  Lukbi Bojir who is a co-accused in a minor's assault and abuse case today from Yingkoing in Upper Siang district. Seijosa police is leaving for Yingkoing to take her into custody, informed IGP Chukhu Apa.
Police were on the lookout for both Lukbi Bojir and his wife Mity for assaulting and abusing a minor girl child. A Zero FIR was also lodged at the women's police station Itanagar and a case has been registered 00/21 U/S 363/326/34 IPC R/W  SEC. 75 JJB Act & 14 Bonded Labour Act  on May 26  last.
When contacted, Officer Incharge, Police station Seijosa, Padi Payang informed that, police teams have been alerted in all the suspected locations where accused Lukbi Bojir can take refuge to evade arrest. However, he will be arrested soon as our teams are on the verge, he said.
The minor child is hospitalized at the Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (TRIHMS), and under medication. An FIR that has been lodged before the Women Police Station in Itanagar, has been forwarded to the Seijosa Police Station in Pakke Kessang district.
Accused Lukbi Bojir, an elementary school teacher is presently posted under government upper primary school Ngomdir, Pushi Bango ( kamru) ,  Bagra circle in West Siang District  and he is a permanent resident of  Tirbin town under Leparada district the  wife is also a PGT teacher.
Earlier, Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (APSCPCR) and the Arunachal Pradesh Women’s Welfare Society (APWWS) took sou motto cognizance of the child abuse case and demanded immediate arrest of the culprits.
