ROING, Feb 22: A 2-day loan mela for the street vendors under the PM SVANidhi loan scheme of Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana National Urban Livelihood Mission (DAY-NULM) organised by DUDA Roing concluded today here at the Anchal Samiti Hall.
The camp was inaugurated by EE In-charge Roing Bapenlu Kri. Certificates of Vending were formally issued to the 124 registered vendors and 27 Food Processing Certificates under the Skill Training & Placement Component of DAY-NULM were also distributed by Mission Director Nixon Lego, State Mission Manager (SMM) Ravi Sharma and the EE. Out of 124 registered vendors under DUDA Roing, 68 applications were filled online during the camp. The SMM along with the Community Organizer, Roing visited LDM Roing and urged for early disbursement of loans under  PM SVANidhi and clear all pending loan cases under the Self Employment Programme (SEP) component of DAY-NULM. The LDM while assuring to look into the matter sought details of the pending cases for early mitigation.
PM SVANidhi under DAY-NULM provides special micro credit facility to the street vendors for affordable working capital loans up to Rs. 10,000 to resume their livelihoods adversely affected by COVID-19 pandemic. UD&H Dept. PR
