ZIRO, Mar 13: District Urban Development Agency (DUDA), Lower Subansiri district today organised a special micro-credit loan mela under the PM SVANidhi scheme for the street vendors of the district here at the DC’s office compound. 
Chief Manager, SBI Ziro and Managers of Ziro-based Rural Bank, Central Bank, Executive Engineer-cum-Member Secretary, DUDA, Community Organizers and the beneficiary street vendors attended the programme. 67 applications received in-principle approval from the banks for getting loans.
Funded by the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, the initiative is an effort to enable the street vendors across the country to restart their businesses that have been badly affected by Covid-19 pandemic. DIPRO
