DEOMALI, Apr 30: Minister PHE&WS, DoTCL etc Wangki Lowang, inspected the ongoing construction work of the Underground Rainwater Drainage System at Deomali general ground today.
The project has been sanctioned under CCI for the financial year 2020-21 at an estimated cost of Rs. 40 lakhs and is being executed by the RWD and is expected to be completed by end of May next year.
It is worthwhile to mention here that this project is a long felt demand of the general public of Deomali, especially the youth who had to struggle with water logging and mud during rainy season.
While inspecting the project, Lowang noticed some technical issues for which he directed the concerned department to ensure top most quality and to complete the project in stipulated time.
