PASIGHAT, Jun 28: Sille Primary Health Center (PHC) under Sille-Oyan Circle, was awarded by the East Siang District Administration for being adjudged the Best Performing Health Facility of the week in the ongoing “Tika Maha abhiyan” on the basis of the parameters namely number of vaccines administered, number of outreach sessions on vaccination completed, highest saturation in population vaccination and highest percentage of increase in population saturation in vaccination. 
Deputy Commissioner Dr. Kinny Singh commended the efforts of the team of PHC Sille stating that successfully vaccinating the entire populations was very challenging.
" Trust in the vaccine has always been vital and critically depends to communicate the benefits of vaccination to the people and to administer safely and effectively. Cooperation from the community to garner trust along with zeal and dedication of Sille PHC was appreciable," said the DC and expressed hope that the PHC would continue to give good medical services in the area of operations. 
On receiving the Appreciation Letter, Sille PHC Incharge, Dr. Bobby Taipodia while expressing her happiness, admitted the hard-work of all the health workers, public representatives and local people. She informed that there were about 2293 people of 18 to 44 years in the area and her center was very close to completing one or two days before the schedule time of vaccination. Massive exercise has been planned by involving ASHA workers, village elders, GBs and public representatives in villages to disseminate the right information moving towards the goal of 100% vaccination in the area.  
Meanwhile, Circle Officer Dr. Heera Panging informed that vaccination for 45 yrs above has also been completed about 90 percent in Sika Bamin and 12-Mile areas of Sile Oyan circle and appealed the people to come forward for vaccination without paying heed to any rumours.DIPRO
