After giving a hearing to their grievances, Phassang assured to extend all-possible support for redressal. “The meeting has been convened to know the ground realities and grievances of the IMC workers who are the backbone of the Corporation,” he said while adding that since the board has just taken charge, various matters are still to be known. “I may not give 100% commitment, but I can assure you that I will at least try my best to resolve the issues up to 40% in the next six months. However, for that I need equal cooperation from the sanitation workers and other staff,” Phassang asserted.
