NIRJULI, Jul 11: The three-day personality orientation camp for the staff members of Nyubu Nyvgem Yerko (NNY) organised by Donyi Polo Cultural and Charitable Trust(DPCCT) in collaboration with Vivekananda Kendra Arun jyoti Arunachal Prant at VKV Nirjuli concluded on July 10.
The first batch of eight staff members of Nyubu Nyvgem Yerko and 11 Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti karyakartas attended the program. Nyubu Nyvgem Yerko situated at rang village, Seppa is an institution which provides blend of traditional as well as modern education to students.
Sessions on positive thinking, power of words, making history, sense of responsibility etc. were delivered by resource persons including Rupesh Mathur, SC Dixit and other faculty members from VKV.
Attending the closing ceremony of the program, Chairman Donyi Polo Cultural and Charitable Trust (DPCCT) Katung Wahge, stated that the Nyubu Nyvgam Yerko is a unique and first of its kind institution in the country. The staff members of NNY have a greater responsibility to keep the younger generations attached with their culture and preserve and promote tribal identity, he added.
Among others, Vice president DPCCT Pai Dawe, Special Secretary(APLA)- Pema Norbu Thongchi, Advisor DPCCT Anshul Saxena ,Rupesh Mathur(VKV) also attended the event.
