PASIGHAT, Aug 3: East Siang DC Tayi Taggu reviewed the status of various schemes and projects being implemented in the district under various Central flagships and State sponsored schemes with the Head of Departments (HoDs) during the monthly District level Monitoring Committee meeting. “Your performance in your respective sectors reflects the performance of the district in all developmental parameters," said the DC while exhorting them to work with the spirit of Team East Siang to make the district a frontrunner in all round development.
The DC also noted the feedback and issues faced during implementation process raised during the meeting. He instructed District Planning Officer(DPO) to include the issues in the  compiled report to the Secretary (Planning & Investment).
Reviewing agri and allied sectors, DC said that maximum awareness should be made so that farmers avail the benefits to optimize their harvest, production and improve hectare coverage. The progress of CM Sashakt Kisan Yojana focusing on Tea, Rubber & Agri- Mechanisation, PMKSY, NFSM(OS & OP), RKY, NFSM, MOVCD, PM-Kisan, status of beneficiary under.
The status and completion of hygienic fish market under RKVY of the fishery department was also briefed to the deputy commissioner.
Under Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC), implementing the DeenDayal Antyodaya Yojana - National Urban Livelihood Mission (NULM), the DC was briefed on the beneficiaries (unemployed urban youth) undergoing skill development training in plumbing,electrician,telecom,bakery etc  through skill training and placement,  vendors benefitted through loan disbursal under PM Svanidhi ,establishment of Sociall Mobilization & Institutional Development (SM & ID) to help SHGs in marketing  their products.
The status of ongoing solid waste management project and other ongoing schemes under FFC implemented by PMC were  also briefed.
