PASIGHAT, Feb 27: Pasighat Police achieved a significant breakthrough in two-wheeler MV theft cases with the recovery of five stolen vehicles from different locations within the district.
During the operation, one alleged accused, Kendo Yomso, 28, was arrested. The recovery and arrest were effected by a police team comprising Inspector Dujom Bagra, OC Pasighat PS, SI JTasung, SI K Tangha and ASI R Lowang under the supervision of the SDPO, Pasighat, Dr Akanksha, IPS.
In this connection, two separate cases, vide PSGT/PS/C/ No. 113/25 and PSGT/PS/C/No. 18/26 both under section 303(2) BNS, have been worked out by Pasighat PS in this connection.
Further investigation is in progress to ascertain the involvement of other accused persons and to effect recovery of any additional stolen property. DIPRO
