DEED, Oct 11: Bharat Scouts and Guides, Lower Subansiri unit conducted a  two-day camp " Parvesh"  for the students of Deed Secondary School on October 9-10 last.
Intensive awareness on the drug menace and Covid-19 pandemic was imparted to the students by the  District Training Organiser Doyom Yorbik.
Attending the camp , Deputy Director of School Education Lower Subansiri, Tabia Chobin exhorted the students to be disciplined and refrain from falling into the vicious circle of drug addiction.
Speaking about the importance of Bharat scouts & guide programmes, he said that "these programmes imbibe a sense of patriotism, awareness on various social issues and helps in the personality development of the students."
Officials from the Education Department along with Block functionaries attended the closing ceremony.
