Yupia, Oct 29: In view of the upcoming APPSCCE Prelims scheduled on November 1, Papum Pare District Administration on Thursday organised a one-day orientation training programme on exam procedures for the centre superintendents, assistant centre superintendents and invigilators of the district’s exam centres at the main auditorium hall of the RGU.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (Hq) Tabang Bodung informed that it will be for the first time in the history of the APPSC that the Deputy Commissioners have been directed to conduct the exam to ensure absolute fairness and transparency. He further divulged that quick-response teams of magistrates with adequate security accompanied by medical teams for each exam centre will be pressed into service to oversee the exam proceedings and prevent untoward incidents. APPSC Co-ordinator for Doimukh exam centre, Deputy Director Civil Aviation Tom Ratan highlighted the latest instructions and guidelines issued by the APPSC. Resource Person and Principal, Government College Doimukh Dr M.Q. Khan gave a presentation on the topic ‘Responsibilities of Officers on Duty’, wherein he explained the guidelines and important instructions issued by the APPSC. While elaborating on COVID-19 SOPs during exam, he also cleared the queries of the participants during the interactive session.
