ITANAGAR, Apr 30: The Annual weapon training program was organized  for the frontline  staffers  by the Pakke Tiger Reserve at Bhalukpong today.
Resource persons from 138 Bn CRPF conducted the training program, which included  arms cleaning, maintenance and firing drill. Eight participants from Khellong Forest Division also attended the training.
PCCF (WL&BD) & Chief WildLife Warden, N.Tam inaugurated the program and  emphasized on the importance of such training. He said that Pakke Tiger Reserve has become a model of protection and management for other protected areas to follow. 
The  Divisional Forest Officer, Suraj  Singh said that this sort of training is indispensable for the front-line staff. He further added the park authorities will continue to organize similar capacity building activities.
Later the prizes for the highest scorers in firing drill was handed over.
