Naharlagun, Oct 14: Ahead of his transfer to the National Capital Territory of Delhi, the outgoing IPR Secretary Himanshu Gupta today in his last formal meeting met a team of IPR officers led by In-Charge Director Dasher Teshi.
The outgoing bureaucrat appreciated the IPR officers for cooperating with him during his tenure which saw the completion of Soochna Bhawan through a gap funding of Rs 4 crore under budget announcement. Other publicity activities such as Arunachal Rising Campaign, literary festival, film festival, PR Conclave and Information Education Communication (IEC) were also launched successfully during his tenure as Special Secretary IPR and Secretary thereafter. Recently, a massive social media campaign was also launched with the help of DIPROs to contain the COVID-19 pandemic which is still underway. The officers conveyed good wishes on behalf of IPR Director Obang Tayeng who could not join due to illness.
