ITANAGAR, Jul 13:  Reiterating its demand, Abotani Clan Organization has urged the state government to expedite the process for establishment of separate Abotani Tradition and Culture Department to preserve and promote its rich heritage along the same lines as the Department of Karmik and Adhyatmik (DoKA) and DoTCL.

Speaking to reporters at press club today, President ACO, Yamra Taya asserted that the organization has no political or personal grudge against the ruling government, however  it is pushing for the creation of the said department for the benefit of the descendents of Abo Tani.  

ACO, chief also added that after meeting with the Deputy Chief Minister on its four point memorandum, DCM has assured to look into all the demands on implementation of minimum wages as per the central government announcement. The organization also said that on the issue of Greenfield airport, DCM has clarified that all the formalities from the state government is over and now the central team has to give the final touch.   

Whereas on demand for revision of  RE-2016-17 after allegation of nepotism in distributing fund ,Yamra informed that Chief Minister has assured for equal distribution of  RE fund to every constituency in next financial year .

While clarifying the rumours going  around  on signature campaign  been initiated by ACO members to dethrone  the  current government, Spokeperson ACO, Taba Taku categorically  refuted such rumours and asserted that the said signature campaign  from all the Abotani Clan MLAs are for their support for creation of separate Abotani Tradition and Culture Department  and nothing else.

‘We have initiated similar campaign among the various heads of the Community Based Organization belonging to Abotani clan,’ he added.
