ITANAGAR, Nov 12: The state's Covid casualty tally touched 47 on Thursday with one more succumbing to the novel virus.
According to the State Covid Bulletin, a 61-year old male hailing from Sumsipathar village, Deomali in Tirap district, suffering from comorbidity died due to acute respiratory distress syndrome.
On a positive note, the rate of recovery has steadily outnumbered the rate of new infections-- with 44 new infections and 88 recoveries reported on Thursday as well. Itanagar Capital Complex reported highest infections of the day with 13 cases while East Siang topped the highest number of recoveries at 15.
