ITANAGAR, Oct 27: The state reported one more death on Tuesday due to Covid-19 pushing the casualty tally to 36.
According to the Covid bulletin, a 61-year-old male (Prisoner) from District Jail, Jully, Itanagar died at DCH-Chimpu Itanagar. Suspected case of cerebro-vascular accident with Covid-19, the patient was referred from the District Jail on October 19 and died today due to septic shock.
In terms of daily additions, a total of 81 new cases have been detected in the state on Tuesday of which 47 are asymptomatic and 34 symptomatic. The ICC continues to be the steady contributor with 18 of the total. Meanwhile, 115 recoveries across the state have been recorded with the ICR having 12 of the total.
As on Tuesday, there are 2139 active Covid-19 cases in the state and 12297 have already been discharged after recovering.
