NEW DELHI, Feb 8: State Assembly Speaker Pasang D Sona today called on Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla here at his office in Parliament.
It was Sona's first meeting with the Lok Sabha Speaker after assuming the charge of Chairman, CPA India Region Zone-III. Briefing about the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) India Region Zone-III Conference to be held this year in Itanagar, Sona invited Birla to attend the same as Chief Guest. Extending his consent to grace the occasion, the Lok Sabha Speaker also expressed his desire to organize a conference for all the MLAs of the Northeast states preferably at Guwahati in April-May. 
Meanwhile, the Lok Sabha Speaker has assured to extend help for training and capacity building of the MLAs and officials of the Arunachal Assembly through workshops.
