Yupia, Dec 14: Top officials of the Papum Pare district administration donated two motorcycles from their personal contribution for the forest beat officers.
Deputy Commissioner Papum Pare, Pige Ligu, the Superintendent of Police Dr. Nyelam Nega and District Land Settlement and Revenue Officer Nabam Nakap, young entrepreneur Nabam Akin of Belo Village and Tai Tayu Ex- Zilla Parishad Member, Kimin made the contribution to ensure timely patrolling along the foothills from Dirga, Dafla to Tarasso. In a small flag-off ceremony at the premises of Deputy Commissioner Office Yupia, the Additional Deputy Commissioner (Hq) Tabang Bodung handed over the keys to ACF Banderdewa Mito Rumi and flagged off the motorcycles today.
Appreciating the gesture, ACF Rumi appealed the public for protection of forests especially dense forests. DIPRO
