PASIGHAT, Aug 3:As a part of Swachhta Pakwada campaign which kick-started on August 1 last, the Nehru Yuva Kendra, Pasighat  under the active supervision of District Youth Coordinator, Tapun Taki carried out mass cleanliness drive at several key locations like  Gandhi Chowk, D Ering tri –junction,  horticulture college, Ayush Hospital, APST bus station etc today at Pasighat.

 The volunteers of Nehru Yuva Kendra, Pasighat with the active involvement of youth club members and residents voluntarily took up the task to clean the streets and premises of schools, hospitals etc.

Meanwhile launching the campaign, Taki administered the Swachh Bharat pledge to Volunteers and appealed all concerned citizens to support and participate in the drive.

The campaign was a part of initiative of Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan Government of India and Ministry of Youth & Sports Affairs and will culminate on the occasion of the ensuing Independence Day.
