RONO HILLS, Sep 24: The National Service Scheme (NSS) Cell of Rajiv Gandhi University observed NSS Day 2020 in a virtual mode on Thursday.
Chief Guest VC Professor Saket Kushwaha appreciated the efforts of the Cell and NSS PO Gomar Basar highlighted its achievements made over the last couple of years. The NSS volunteers shared their experiences and activities undertaken during the pandemic, sang inspirational songs and gave motivational speeches. It was decided that a training programme on ‘Disaster Mitigation and Management’ and ‘Environment’ will be organised for the state’s POs and NSS volunteers as suggested by the VC.
