ITANAGAR, Oct 2: State Assembly Speaker P D Sona on Saturday encouraged the APPSCCE aspirants who are appearing for upcoming viva-voce to stay focused and work hard to achieve success. He was speaking at the mock-interview cum counselling programme organised by Adi Bane Kebang at DKCC, Itanagar.
Asserting that there is no shortcut to success and one can achieve it only through hard work and dedication, the Speaker suggested the aspirants to work hard and give their best.
“Time has changed and competition is tougher now. And there is no substitute for hard work,” the Speaker said.
Referring to various steps initiated by the State Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Pema Khandu for free and fair recruitment, the Speaker informed the aspirants that only the best and deserving would be selected.
Further, he advised the aspirants not to give up if they somehow fail to get success in their first attempt. He asked them to keep trying until they succeed.
Also, the Speaker, while extending his best wishes to the aspirants for their viva-voce, asked them to be prepared to serve anywhere in the state after getting selected and don’t just run after politicians to get themselves transferred to places of their choice.
“You are the future of the state and we need good officers,” the Speaker added.
Meanwhile, lauding the organising committee for conducting a mock-interview cum counselling programme to help out the aspirants, the Speaker suggested them to keep up the spirit as such a platform will definitely help the aspirants.
Among others present on the occasion were MLA Ninnong Ering, ABK President Getom Borang and members of ABK.
