ITANAGAR, Sep 6: No letter from ULFA(I) was received regarding the issuance of PRC to Assamese community residing in Arunachal Pradesh, informed Chief Minister Pema Khandu today while responding to query by reporters.
I have seen the letter through social media, and its authenticity is not clear. Moreover, my office hasn’t received any copy yet, he added.
While reacting to the similar question of demanding PRC by the various Non-APST Community residing in Lekang circle of Namsai District, CM informed that, State government has already dropped the decision to confer PRC to Non-APST after denizens protested and as of now, the decision remains unchanged.
Further, responding to AAPSU’s demand on the issuance of the draft on Non-APST Offspring, the CM said the department is working on the draft and it will be released soon.
