ITANAGAR, Apr 10:

Minister Urban Development & Town Planning, Nabam Rebia has asked officials of National Highway Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) to kick start the construction of two lane road from Kola Camp-Harmuty-Bage Tinali (17.5 KM)within this month.

In a meeting held here today at the Minister’s office chamber at secretariat, the house after dwelling in a long discussion resolved to commence the construction work.

 

On their part, officials of NHIDCL, PWD as well as DC Yupia presented their report on the status of the project and discussions held with project affected people, their views and suggestions.

 

Rebia after a successful discussion with the officials has given green signal and directed the concern EE PWD, to suspend all the tender process activities which were carried out and kept in abeyance.

 

Rebia suggested executing team to start the work right from Bage Tinali Tri Junction point or from Gumto and requested the district administration and PWD to provide logistic support without any hindrance.

Further Rebia who is also the local MLA of the Doimukh Assembly constituency appealed the youths and local people of Doimukh and Gumto Circle to extend cooperation for smooth conduct enabling the executing firm for early completion of work.
