ITANAGAR, Sep 16: With an objective to motivate  and encourage youths to opt for self-employment, the Wake-Up Arunachal Volunteers (WUAV) is going to organize series of awareness campaigns in different parts of the state, said  Chairman WUAV Bage Kamsi.
Addressing mediapersons at the press club today, Kamsi informed that the organization will create awareness on the importance of self-reliance and motivate the youths to opt for entrepreneurship.
"Unemployment amongst the youth is the sole cause of anti-social activities in the state. If we give a platform and engage our youths in entrepreneurship then they will surely divert from drug menace and other anti-social activities."
He also informed that his NGO will establish street food court for the local youths, an employment exchange  or a consultancy so that local youths would be recruited in different  private sectors according to their skill and interest.  WUAV will also impart training on  fish farming, mushroom farming, Bakery, pickle-making and tailoring for the unemployed youths, he added.
