AALO, Aug 8: Mother's Vision, Aalo, which is taking its drug awareness campaign to rural areas of West Siang district began its mission from Darka, the largest village of the district today. The NGO carried out a workshop on drug problem and its implication for PRI members as the campaign will cover all Zila Parishad segments.
The objective behind the campaign is to dissuade the younger generation from the growing menace of drugs and its implications; training was given on methods to deal with addicts and to rehabilitate them to lead a productive way of life.
Chairperson and ZPM Yomcha, Jumde Yomgam Gamlin highlighted the collective response to root out drug menace from society. Atul Rongphar, Residential Counselor, Mother De-addiction cum Rehabilitation centre spoke on psychological and behavioral issues. Kennedy Bagra, who runs the De-addiction and Rehabilitation centre gave detailed deliberations on use and impact of drugs in society as Resource Person. DIPRO
