NAHARLAGUN, May 29: Friends for Life, an NGO today organised a voluntary blood donation camp here at the TRIHMS wherein 14 donors engaged themselves in the noble act.
The donation drive was conducted keeping in mind the scarcity of blood donors during the prevailing Covid situation. A total of 22 volunteers, mostly youths turned up for blood donation including seven women, however, only 14 got the opportunity to donate.
FFL Chairperson Toku Natung Nabam informed that the NGO decided to organise the camp after knowing that blood banks are facing shortage of blood amid the pandemic.
