TAWANG, Feb 13: Jackets were distributed to monks of the Tawang monastery and Sera Je Jamyang Choekorling monastery on Sunday and the day before.
Deputy Commissioner Tawang, Kesang Ngurup Damo gave away the item of clothing which has been sponsored by  Gurgaon-based NGO Hans Foundation in association with Seemanta Chetna Maanch Purvottar while the Arunodaya Welfare Association,Tawang branch organised the distribution.
The DC further informed that on his request the NGO has assured to provide three ambulances for Tawang district.
