ROING, July 6: A free ration distribution programme intended to cover the vulnerable families of Lower Dibang Valley district was launched today by Deputy Commissioner K. N. Damo here at the office of AMYAA NGO.
Sponsored by Crypto Relief, the programme is being implemented by AMYAA NGO under its UMEED project. Appreciating the NGO for the initiative, the DC exhorted the district’s people to follow all COVID SOPs and get vaccinated at the earliest. He also spoke on the need for proper disposal of plastic waste. Secretary, AMYAA R. K. Paul Chawang informed that 2500 ration kits had been received and 1000 kits have been allocated to LDV, 1000 to Namsai and 500 to Dibang Valley. DIPRO
