LONGDING, Jun 5: Kanubari-based NGO Needy and Underprivileged Caring Society today organised an awareness-cum-groceries item distribution programme in the remote Ngamding and Hahsai villages in Longding district.

The NGO's Chairman Manlem Jamikham and his team encouraged the villagers to fight against Covid-19 by maintaining SOPs and getting vaccinated. Besides groceries, face masks were also distributed to the villagers who expressed gratefulness to the NGO for the initiative.
