KHONSA, Feb 8: A one-day orientation programme for the newly elected Zilla Parishad members and Gram Panchayat chairpersons of Tirap district was held today here at the Circuit House Conference Hall under chairmanship of ZPC Chathong Lowang.
PD (DRDA) Hakresha Kri highlighted the various Centrally sponsored schemes viz. PMAY (Gramin), MGNREGA and CMAY-G. APO (DRDA) Er. Telem Kitnya highlighted the labour budget and AAP under MGNREGA for 2021-22FY. District Nodal Officer (PEMS), Department of Panchayati Raj Er. Makba Nasi emphasised on the 15th Finance Commission Grants, Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan (RGSA), Gram Panchayat Development Plan and other aspects related to PRIs.
EAC I/c. Lazu D.K. Thungdok appealed the ZPMs and GPCs to implement the Centrally sponsored schemes within deadlines. DIPRO
