ITANAGAR, Feb 9: As part of the ongoing sensitization-cum-co-ordination meetings of the newly elected PRI representatives across the state, a meeting for the ZPMs and GPCs of Dibang valley was held today in Anini at the DC’s Conference hall, organised jointly by the DPDO and DRDA offices. A similar meeting was also held on the day for the Lower Subansiri district PRIs in Hapoli.

In the Dibang valley meeting  ZPC Theko Tayu requested the GPCs to coordinate with the officials in developmental matters and take up social issues in their respective segments. PD DRDA Lijum Ete requested the ZPMs and GPCs to extend necessary support in making the DRDA programmes successful in the district. DPDO Toni Mitkong briefed about the importance of GPDP and 15^th Finance Commission.

In Hapoli the coordination meeting was held under chairmanship of ZPC, Lower Subansiri Likha Sang Chhore at the DC’s Conference Hall in presence of Deputy Commissioner Swetika Sachan.

The DC while elaborating on the significance of Panchayat Raj system advised the ZPC, ZPMs and HoDs to conduct such meetings regularly for effective implementation of all Central and  State sponsored schemes in the district.The ZPC also called for collective effort and coordination between the HoDs and ZPMs for effective implementation of the developmental schemes.
