KHONSA, Jan 19: District Level Monitoring Committee (DLMC) of Tirap in its 2nd meeting here at the Kamlesh Joshi Conference Hall of DC Office on Monday reviewed a host of Central/State sponsored schemes under chairmanship of  Deputy Commissioner Taro Mize.
The schemes that were reviewed were SPA, SADA, SIDF, CRF, NLCPR, NEC, RIDF,  BADP MSDP/PMJVK, MPLAD, CMDICF, Deposit Works  etc. The DC-cum-Chairman DLMC while greeting the newly elected ZPC and ZPMs asked the concerned executing agencies to share the details of action taken on the observations of the last DLMC meeting held on June 29, 2020. He asked the HoDs to obtain prior approval from the District Administration before leaving the station on duty or on leave and cooperate with the PR representatives in implementation of projects. He further asked the implementing departments to provide the details of all ongoing  projects in the district with the Zila Parishad Chairperson and block-wise details with the concerned ZPM at least one week before DLMC meetings. The PR representatives and Administrative Officers were also asked by the DC to monitor the ongoing projects in their respective areas and share feedback in DLMC meetings. Work departments should mandatorily submit quarterly progress reports of all ongoing schemes to the DA and a copy of the same should be furnished to the concerned Administrative Officers and user agencies for effective monitoring, he added.

The DC further requested the HoDs and PR representatives to inform the DA about any kind of land encroachment. DIPRO
