ZIRO,  Jan 23: The newly elected Zilla Parishad Chairperson of Lower Subansiri district Likha Sang Chhore officially assumed office on Friday here in Monipolyang.

Interacting with the ZPMs the new ZPC sought their cooperation to ensure that welfare schemes reach the intended beneficiaries at grassroots level. Accompanied by ADC-cum-DPDO Millo Kojin, PD Bamin Tarang and all ZPMs she later inspected the ZPC and DRDA offices.

Chhore won from Deed Zilla Parishad Constituency with a margin of 898 votes which is the highest in the district. DIPRO
