TEZU, Nov 12: The newly joined Deputy Commissioner of Lohit district, Marge Sora while interacting with the officers and officials of the District Administration today here at the Mini Secretariat advised them to exercise patience in discharging duties and make sure there is no delay in delivering public services.
“The district has a huge scope for progressing. Each Central and State flagship programme needs to be percolated and reached timely to the targeted groups. In case of any complicacy, you should discuss with me anytime to avoid delay,” the DC told the officials while exhorting them to set examples through performance. He further appealed to the Revenue department to check pilferage and work harder to give better turnover to the government exchequer.
While asking the staff to maintain transparency and work culture, the DC also reviewed the preparedness of the upcoming Panchayat elections and urged all stakeholders to maintain an unbiased stand. Recalling his strenuous days as a Circle Officer in Tezu during the eighties, he also promised to complete the half done or left out tasks undertaken by the previous DC.
Lohit SP AK Singh appealed all to gear up for the upcoming PR elections and put extra efforts to ensure its fairness and transparency.
