ITANAGAR, Sep 19: Two-days national webinar on ‘Recent Advances in Renewable Energy Technology’ was held on September 17-18, organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology, Deemed to be University, Under the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India. The programme was co-ordinated by Prof. Pradip Lingfa, Dean (Students’ Affairs) and Dr. Maryom Dabi of Mechanical Engineering Department, NERIST. The objective of the webinar was to bring the common platform for exchange of ideas in recent advances and technological development in the field of renewable energy and promote the knowledge of renewable energy for the benefit of society, nation and globe as a whole.

Resource persons from various academic Institutes such as from IIT’s, Central Universities and industries took part and shared their research and development experiences in area of renewable energy technologies with the participants. 
Participants were faculty members, research scholars from reputed Institutes and Central Universities of India.
