Khonsa, Aug 18: The 30th Board of Management and Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the NERCORMP Society were convened on Tuesday by the Secretary, North Eastern Council (NEC) Shillong.
NERCORMP in Tirap and Longding districts was represented by Deputy Commissioner, Tirap-cum-Chairperson, Tirap Community Resource Management Society Bhanu Prabha along with CBO representative Jasmine Shin. In the meeting which was conducted through videoconferencing, DC requested the NEC to provide funds for continuance of services of Community Organisers (COs), marketing support for Agri-Horti produce and working capital fund for processing units planned to be established in Tirap and Longding.
