ITANAGAR, Feb 11: Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Arunachal Pradesh an autonomous body under Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India, having field offices in all the districts of the state organised various youth developmental programmes at the district level.
On Thursday, NYK, Lohit organised orientation of youth on Aatma Nirbhar Bharat program. As part of the programme, awareness was provided on various government schemes under which youths can apply for financial assistance to generate self-employment and generate income. Sports materials to different youth clubs were also distributed in the presence of UNV DYO, Chowkhun Mounlang.
In Bomdila, as part of youth wellness and positive lifestyle campaign, a day long programme with two sessions on fitness culture, and spirit of sportsmanship among the youth was organised.
More than 80 youths were present at the training programme.
NYK, Papum Pare also organised a digital facilitation program, preparing a cadre of bank mitras with theme on Aatma Nirbhar Bharat, Swantantra Bharat.
The programme aims to create awareness about the need and importance of learning for filing digital forms in getting benefits under various schemes of the government.
