ITANAGAR, Sep 19: John Neelam, Vice President of Arunachal Pradesh Football Association (APFA) has been appointed as a member of the Grassroots Football Development Committee of All India Football Federation in its executive meeting held today at Kolkata, West Bengal, informed APFA.
He will be part of the nine member Grassroots Development Committee of AIFF having Mulrajsinh Chudasama as its new chairman which oversees development of grassroots football and programs associated with that  across the country.
Arunachal Pradesh Football Association in its official statement congratulated John Neelam on his appointment and conveyed its best wishes for his future endeavours. It further stated that having representatives from the state in the All India Football Federation will help Arunachal and the region to get necessary care and attention required for the growth of football from the apex body.
