DOIMUKH, Mar 2: 12 NDRF Itanagar in a successful rescue operation on Dikrong river near the Saturday Market here on Monday managed to pull out of danger a family of four.
The four rescued members of the family from Nirjuli who were left stranded on Dikrong due to a sudden rise in water level were  Pikar Hankar (32), his wife Aido Riamukh (26) and their two minor children.
The NDRF rescue team arrived at the spot immediately after being informed by the OC, Police Station Doimukh.
