HOLLONGI, Jun 12: 12 NDRF today organised a plantation drive here as part of ‘Mission: 1 Lakh’ under the aegis of  Union MHA's Akhil Bhatia Vriksharopan Abhiyan with the objective of enhancing purity of environment. 
The plantation drive was launched after its inauguration by Chief Minister Pema Khandu through a videoconference. Commandant 12 NDRF Rajesh Thakur along with officers and officials planted around 1150 saplings of fruit-bearing and other plants. 1200 more saplings will also be planted on June 13.
