NEW DELHI, Oct 19: After assuming the additional assignment of the Ministry of Environment & Forest, Mama Natung on Monday called on Union Minister of Environment Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) Prakash Javadekar along with East Arunachal Parliamentarian Tapir Gao this morning at his official residence New Delhi and discussed about the various pending issues relating to the department of environment and forest.
Natung requested the union minister to support the state government on forest related schemes and projects. Union Minister EFCC assured to look into the forest related issues of the state.
Further, Natung called on Secretary Ministry of EFCC, R. P Gupta at Indra Paryavaran Bhawan New-Delhi and discussed the pending issues. Secretary EFCC has assured to support Arunachal Pradesh and provide all requisite assistance from the union ministry. Natung was accompanied by Deputy Residential Commissioner, Sangeet Dubey.
Natung who is also the minister of Sports and Youth Affairs and Water Resource Department called on Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports (I/C) & Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju at his official residence on Sunday and discussed on various pressing issues relating to youth and sports department of the state.
