ITANAGAR, Sep 20: Minister for Sports & Youth Affairs, Mama Natung attended the National Conference of Ministers In-charge of Sports & Youth Affairs today through virtual mode.
The Conference was chaired by Union Minister, Sports & YA,  Anurag Thakur, and was attended by Sports Ministers from all States & Union Territories.
The roadmap for making India a ‘Top Sporting Nation’ was discussed, including improving sports’ infrastructure, identifying & nurturing budding talent and strengthening schools’ games.
Natung spoke about the immense sporting potential of Arunachal Pradesh and requested Thakur to ensure timely setting up of 2 Small Khelo India Centers in each district and the Khelo India Center of Excellence at Sangey Lhaden Sports Academy.
