SEPPA, Nov 22: Minister Sports and Youth Affairs, WRD & Env & Forests, Mama Natung on Saturday visited Lelung village under Bana Circle. He inspected the ongoing PMGSY road from Koto to Lelung village where span of about 4-5 km of formation cutting remains to be completed.
A coordination meeting of Head Gaon Buras, village elders, Panchayat leaders also took place at Lelung in view of the upcoming Panchayat elections. The minister was accompanied by Ealing Tallang, East Kameng District BJP President, Mandal Presidents, BJP karyakartas and public leaders.
‘I want to make my constituency a model constituency by shunning away money culture and  mortgage system. And that has to begin from the grassroots, at Panchayat level’, said the Minister. He urged the general public to live in harmony with nature and desist from hunting and deforestation. He also distributed some blankets and essential food items to the villagers of Lelung.
Ealing Tallang while exhorting the BJP party said that the party is based on discipline and performance. He was confident that the party will win the upcoming panchayat election with a landslide margin.
The Minister also inspected the proposed site for Agriculture College at Watte, East Kameng.
