ITANAGAR, Oct 25: A coordination meeting of all the Executive Engineers, Superintendent Engineers/Superintending Surveyor of works and Chief Engineers was held in the conference hall of CE, P&D Office, Chimpu presided by Mama Natung; Minister, WRD, SYA & Env & Forest along with Advisor to WRD, DoTCL, Wanglam Sawin and Ojing Tasing, MLA Boleng-Pangin.
Natung advocated the field officers to make DPR of various schemes after physical verification and asked the Superintendent Engineers to make frequent visits to each division under them and appealed them to work for the larger interest of the public.
Sawin in his maiden interaction with the officers asked them to be punctual and sincere in discharging their duties. Tasing also asked the officers to be compassionate and tactful in dealing with the public.
Secretary WRD, Geyum Padu in his address asked the field officers to prepare DPR after proper survey for technical viability and feasibility of the projects and ensure proper monitoring and evaluation of the same.
All the Chief Engineers also spoke on the occasion. Power point presentations of all the central and state sponsored schemes under various heads were presented by the respective Superintendent Engineers.
The website of WRD (www.wrdarunachal.nic.in) was also launched on the occasion by the minister.
