NAMSAI, Jul 11: Joining the Vanmahotshav, panchayat  members  of new Jengthu and Dhonekona  village organized mass planting at the community land of new Jengthu village, as well as in schools, Mosup of Dhonekona village in  Namsai district today.
Joining the event, ZPC Namsai Nang Urmila Machekhun appreciated the panchayat members and encouraged them to plant saplings as much as possible to make the environment clean and green. She also suggested each villager to follow the motto of "one plants one".
Speaking on the occasion, GPC  Dhonekona Juli Dai  also urged  the villagers  to love  and care for all the plants as  their own children so that the future can be saved.
