Indian Army conducts ‘Know Your Army’ outreach
AALO, Mar 10: A three-member peer team appointed by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) visited Saint Francis De Sales College here on March 8-9 last to evaluate its prospect of getting accredited by the council.
The visiting team from Bengaluru comprised former Vice-Chancellor, Central University of Kerala Dr. Gopa Kumar as Chairperson, Retired Professor of English, Banaras Hindu University Dr. Rama Nand Rai and Principal, Mariani College, Jorhat Dr. Haren Saikia. Besides interacting with various departments, members of committees, support services staff, faculty, students and other stakeholders, the team also conducted document verification and inspection of facilities.
On the concluding day of the tour the team took stock of the institutional values and best practices of the college and interacted with its alumni, parents and students. Later, a cultural programme was organized by the students highlighting the five core values of the college. DIPRO
